You mention Emery as being a bad backup, you couldn't be further than the truth. If the Hawks and Oil were to make a deal to bring the Bulin Wall back to Chicago, ideally I'd like to see Khabby and Emery splitting starts, with Crawford as far away from NHL ice as possible. He is appallingly terrible. Give us Khabby and perhaps the Blackhawks can salvage a season. |

I'm pretty sure the reason dmen drafted in the top 5 generally don't develop well is because they're always rushed into the NHL. Teams assume that just because a guy has the offensive tools he's automatically a great defensive dmen, which is almost never the case. If the Oilers decided to draft, say, Ryan Murray with their 1st round pick this year, they have to be patient with him and let him develop his overall game in juniors. Rushing guys is how you end up with guys like Zach Bogosian. |

same schtick....you are as bad as that RW fan from Clouts' other thread,,,except for the fact he has a reason to talk sh!t...team high in standing every year. The Avs are 11 points up on Edm with 2 games more played...so potentially they could be only 7 points up...no much of a spread for such a power house team like the Avs, over the small and weak oil....
